Skycare Solutions delivers person-centred NDIS elderly care across Australia — from medication management and dementia care to private duty nursing and end-of-life support. Registered, qualified, and committed to the wellbeing of every senior we care for.
NDIS elderly care is funded support for older NDIS participants who have a permanent and significant disability. It includes medication management, dementia and Alzheimer's care, physical therapy, private duty nursing, end-of-life care, and social activities — delivered at home by qualified support workers.
For NDIS participants approaching or living in their senior years, the right support can make the difference between simply existing and truly thriving. At Skycare Solutions' Senior Care Support, we deliver tailored NDIS elderly care assistance that puts wellbeing first — with compassion, clinical rigour, and a genuine understanding of what dignity at home means.
As a registered NDIS provider audited under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, every service we deliver meets the strict NDIS Practice Standards 2025–2026. NDIS elderly care is funded support delivered to older NDIS participants who have a permanent and significant disability. Services typically include medication management, dementia and Alzheimer's care, physical therapy and rehabilitation, private duty nursing, end-of-life care, and social and recreational activities — delivered at home by qualified support workers and registered nurses.
Yes — if you joined the NDIS before you turned 65 and remain an active participant, your plan continues to fund supports related to your disability. NDIS-funded supports cover the impact of your disability, while age-related supports are typically funded through My Aged Care. Skycare Solutions can help you navigate which supports come from which scheme.
NDIS elderly care is for participants under 65 (at the time of application) with a permanent and significant disability. The NDIS continues to fund their disability-related supports after they turn 65.
Aged care (Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support, and residential aged care) is for Australians aged 65 and over (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who need help due to ageing, with or without a disability. It's funded through the federal aged care system, not the NDIS.
Skycare Solutions supports both NDIS participants and Home Care Package recipients.
Yes. Dementia and Alzheimer's care is one of our specialist elderly care services. Our team includes support workers with training in dementia-specific care practices — including routine maintenance, safety strategies, communication techniques, and family support. We follow best-practice guidance from Dementia Australia.
If your supports are funded in your NDIS plan, there is usually no out-of-pocket cost. NDIS elderly care services are charged within the official NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which the NDIA reviews and updates each financial year. Skycare Solutions invoices within the approved rates — with no hidden fees.

Yes. We provide overnight, weekend, and 24/7 elderly care for participants with complex high-intensity support needs. The level and frequency of care depends on what's funded in your NDIS plan. During your free consultation we'll review your plan to confirm exactly what level of support your funding covers.
Yes. Our end-of-life care service provides emotional, spiritual, and practical support for participants and their families through the final stage of life. We focus on dignity, comfort, and honouring the participant's wishes. Our team coordinates closely with GPs, palliative care specialists, and families to deliver compassionate, person-centred end-of-life support at home.
For most non-complex elderly care services, Skycare Solutions can begin supports within 1–2 weeks of your initial enquiry. For complex care (private duty nursing, 24/7 support, dementia care with behaviours of concern), the onboarding process is typically 2–4 weeks because of additional planning, staff matching, and training. Urgent or emergency requests are accommodated where possible — call us directly to discuss.
Absolutely. With the participant's consent, we actively involve family members, partners, and informal carers in care planning, regular reviews, and communication. We understand elderly care isn't just about the individual — it's about the whole circle of support around them.
