Pakenham sits roughly 57 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, at the far end of the Pakenham railway line and the Princes Highway corridor. It is one of the fastest growing communities in Victoria, and that growth has outpaced local disability services. Many Pakenham participants tell us the same thing: providers say they cover the area, then send workers from the inner suburbs who cancel when traffic on the M1 backs up.
We work differently. Our Narre Warren office is about 20 kilometres away, and we recruit support workers who live in Cardinia Shire, in suburbs like Pakenham, Officer, Beaconsfield and Nar Nar Goon. That means shorter travel, fewer cancellations, and workers who already know where the Cardinia Cultural Centre is, which entrance at Pakenham Marketplace has step-free access, and how long the drive to Casey Hospital in Berwick really takes.
It also matters for transport funding. NDIS provider travel is claimable, and shorter distances mean less of your Core budget goes on getting a worker to your door and more of it goes on actual support.
Every service below is delivered by screened, qualified support workers and charged within the official NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Choose a few hours a week or full 24/7 support.

Provider number 4050172644, audited against the NDIS Practice Standards. Registration means we can support NDIA-managed participants, not only plan-managed and self-managed.
We hire across Cardinia Shire and the Casey corridor. Less travel time means more reliable shifts and less of your Core budget spent on provider travel.
You get a small, familiar team rather than a different face every visit. We match on language, gender preference, cultural background and interests.
Every service is charged within the published NDIS price limits. We will tell you the exact line item and rate before you sign anything.
Every worker holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, has completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, and carries current First Aid and CPR.
We deliver supports across Pakenham and the surrounding Cardinia Shire townships, plus the neighbouring City of Casey.
Nearby areas we also serve: Narre Warren, Dandenong, Frankston and Mornington. Not sure if we reach you? Call 03 7047 9499 and we will tell you honestly.
If a support is funded in your plan, you generally pay nothing out of pocket. Pakenham sits in the NDIS national standard geographic area, so standard price limits apply, not remote loadings.

Yes. Sky Care Solutions Pty Ltd is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission under provider number 4050172644, and we deliver supports throughout Pakenham and the Cardinia Shire. Registration means we are independently audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and can support NDIA-managed participants as well as plan-managed and self-managed ones. You can verify any provider's registration on the NDIS Commission website.
We cover Pakenham 3810, Pakenham Upper, Lakeside, Officer, Beaconsfield, Nar Nar Goon, Koo Wee Rup, Bunyip, Garfield, Tynong, Maryknoll, Cardinia, Rythdale and Tooradin. We also serve the neighbouring City of Casey, including Narre Warren, Berwick and Cranbourne. If your suburb is not listed, call us on 03 7047 9499 and we will confirm availability honestly rather than overpromising.
For most standard supports such as personal care, domestic assistance, community access or transport, we can usually start within one to two weeks of your first enquiry. Supported Independent Living and high-intensity supports typically take two to four weeks because they require additional planning, staff training and rostering. If your situation is urgent, tell us when you call and we will do what we can to bring the timeline forward.
If the support is funded in your NDIS plan, you generally pay nothing out of pocket. All providers must charge within the price limits published in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which the NDIA updates each 1 July. Pakenham falls within the national standard geographic area, so standard rates apply with no remote or very remote loading. See our NDIS Price Guide for the current figures.
Yes. Choice and control is a core NDIS principle and you can change providers at any time. Check the notice period in your existing service agreement, which is commonly 14 to 28 days. We will prepare a new service agreement, coordinate the handover so there is no gap in your supports, and start on the date you choose. You do not need your current provider's permission to leave.
Yes. We provide disability transport for appointments, work, education, shopping and social activities. Common Pakenham trips include Casey Hospital and specialist clinics in Berwick, Dandenong Hospital, Pakenham Marketplace, Lakeside Square and the Cardinia Cultural Centre. Transport can be funded from your Core budget, either as recurring transport funding or as activity-based provider travel.
Yes. We support participants across a wide range of disability types, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, physical and neurological disability, acquired brain injury and psychosocial disability. Supports are matched to your plan goals rather than your diagnosis. For participants with behaviours of concern we also offer positive behaviour support delivered by qualified practitioners.
Yes. We deliver active overnight support, sleepover shifts and full 24/7 supported independent living, depending on what is funded in your plan. Because Pakenham is within reasonable distance of our Narre Warren office, we can roster overnight staff reliably rather than treating it as an outer-edge exception. The exact level available depends on your funded supports, which we will review with you during your free consultation.
Registered providers are audited by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission against the NDIS Practice Standards, must meet worker screening and incident reporting requirements, and can support participants whose plans are NDIA-managed. Unregistered providers are not independently audited and can only be used by plan-managed and self-managed participants. Sky Care Solutions is registered, which means every participant in Pakenham can use us regardless of how their plan is managed.
Yes. Alongside NDIS supports we deliver aged care services under the Support at Home program, which replaced Home Care Packages in November 2025. If you are over 65 and your needs relate to ageing rather than disability, Support at Home is usually the right pathway. If you entered the NDIS before turning 65, your NDIS plan continues. See our Support at Home page or call us and we will help you work out which scheme applies.
Book a free, no-obligation consultation. We will review your plan, explain what your funding actually covers, and match you with local support workers. No pressure to sign anything.
