An NDIS provider is an individual or organisation that delivers funded disability support services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Providers can be registered (audited and approved by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission) or unregistered.

Registered NDIS providers (like Skycare Solutions) are formally audited and approved by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. They must meet the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct, and they can deliver services to NDIA-managed, plan-managed, and self-managed participants.
Unregistered providers have not been through the formal audit process. They can only deliver services to plan-managed or self-managed participants — not NDIA-managed.
Both types must follow the NDIS Code of Conduct, but registered providers offer additional accountability, oversight, and protection for participants.
There is no fixed end date for NDIS support. As long as you continue to meet the eligibility criteria and your disability remains permanent and significant, you will continue to receive funded support.
Plans are typically reviewed every 12 months. During the review, the National Disability Insurance Agency may adjust your level of support based on changing needs and progress against your goals. You can also request an earlier review if your circumstances change significantly.
