Respectful, reliable help with the everyday personal tasks that matter most, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and medication prompts. Delivered in your own home by a registered NDIS provider, so you stay safe, comfortable and independent.

NDIS assistance with self-care activities is funded, hands-on help with everyday personal tasks — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and medication prompts (also called Activities of Daily Living). It's funded from your Core Supports budget under Assistance with Daily Life, and helps you live safely and independently at home.
Trusted by 50+ teams to empower people across Melbourne & Victoria

Assistance with self-care activities is funded NDIS support that helps you manage essential daily personal tasks safely and confidently. Rather than doing everything for you, our support workers help you do as much as you can for yourself — building confidence and independence while your dignity is always respected.
It sits in your Core Supports budget under Assistance with Daily Life, and can be delivered one-on-one at home, within Supported Independent Living (SIL), or alongside domestic assistance.

Self-care activities are everyday personal tasks that keep you clean, healthy and comfortable — also called Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Under the NDIS they include bathing and showering, grooming and oral care, dressing, toileting and continence, eating and mealtime support, medication prompts, and safe transfers and mobility around the home.
Direct, hands-on self-care is funded from your Core Supports budget under Assistance with Daily Life. Skill-building support that helps you become more independent over time may be funded from Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living. Your plan sets out how much funding you have.
Under the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026–27 (from 1 July 2026), the National price limits for a standard support worker are $73.58/hour weekday daytime, $81.07 weekday evening, $82.57 weekday night, $103.54 Saturday, $133.50 Sunday, $163.46 public holidays, and $311.79 for an overnight sleepover. If it's funded in your plan there is usually no out-of-pocket cost.
Yes — the NDIS can fund the support time to plan, prepare or cook your meals, and help with eating, when your disability means you can't do this independently. It does not cover the cost of the food itself, so invoices must separate the food cost from the preparation or delivery cost.
Support workers can provide prompts and reminders and assist you to self-administer medication safely. Clinical medication management (for example, administration by a registered nurse) is generally a health-system responsibility rather than an NDIS self-care support, though high-intensity supports may apply for some participants.
You may be eligible if you're an NDIS participant whose disability affects your ability to complete daily personal tasks safely and independently, and the support is reasonable and necessary. It's confirmed in your NDIS plan with funding under Assistance with Daily Life. Children with disability can also receive self-care support (e.g. toileting, feeding, dressing).
Yes. We provide evening, overnight (sleepover), weekend and 24/7 personal care for participants with higher or complex needs. The level and frequency depend on what's funded in your plan — we'll review it with you during your free consultation.
Yes. NDIS participants have choice and control. We match you with a worker who suits your needs, gender preference, language, culture and routine, and we work to keep your team consistent so you're not explaining yourself to strangers each visit.
