We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of our clients..
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, and community participation.
- Assist with medication management and health monitoring.
- Help clients achieve their individual goals as outlined in their NDIS plans.
- Promote social interaction and participation in community activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Complete documentation and maintain accurate records as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
About You:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs (desirable)..
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards disability care.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
